Biography
What was your first-ever job?
Hanging curtains for an interior design company. As I am not artistic or great at DIY I very quickly established that the job was not for me.
What was your worst experience as a trainee?
I had been sent to London to lodge papers at the RCJ. We were on a very tight deadline as they had to be served by 4pm that day. I proceeded to become lost and couldn’t find the office I needed. When I did locate it (at about 3.55pm) I had an argument with the clerk who refused to accept it. She eventually took the papers saying the Judge probably wouldn’t allow it. I spent the next two weeks living in fear that the whole case would be lost as a result of my poor sense of direction.
What do you do at weekends?
I enjoy eating out, going for walks with my wife and the dog and church on Sunday.
