Biography

What was your worst ­experience as a trainee? >

Nothing that bad has happened (yet)! As a Paralegal there was a gorgeous looking male trainee in the department. I started talking to him by the paper shredder and got a bit carried away. I ended up shredding part of the original correspondence. It wasn’t the greatest start to my legal career.

If you were stranded on a desert island, what two ­luxury items would you take?

Nail scissors because long nails and thought of having to bite them sends a shiver down my spine. A pack of cards to keep myself occupied.

If a movie was being made about your life, which actor would play you and why?

Dawn French – strictly not an actress but I think she has a quality which people warm to and she’s hilarious. I like to think I portray the same qualities!

Specialism

Amy deals with all aspects of family law – divorce, co-habitation, finances, children – contact and residence and matters involving domestic abuse. 
Amy is a Member of Resolution and is a committee member of the Women’s Project and the Independent Domestic Abuse Forum, both North Somerset based charities assisting women and children affected by domestic abuse.
