Biography

What was your first-ever job?

Saturday girl at the local hairdresser. My first “grown up” job was as a care assistant at a Cheshire Home – it put a lot of things in perspective and the lessons learnt there have stayed with me.

If you weren’t a lawyer, what would you have been?

I think my dream career would have been to stay embedded in academia at Cambridge.

Who’s your hero and why?

My parents for teaching me always to aim for what I want rather than settle for second best because it is easier.
