What was your worst ­experience as a trainee?

I have a very sensitive stomach and gag reflex and when I was in Wills & Probate I had to attend a house clearance. Jenny very kindly spared me the details, as she knows how “delicate” I am, but unfortunately the next door neighbour wanted to tell me all about the big dark stain on the kitchen floor!

What do you do at weekends?

I am an amateur boxing judge, so between September and June will normally be found at a show somewhere in the south west. Otherwise, I go to the gym, treat Tyson (my 6 year old German Shepherd) to long muddy walks, my husband to home-cooked, non-microwaved meals and myself to a good bottle of red.

If you were stranded on a desert island, what two ­luxury items would you take?

Is a handsome “Man Friday” who can cook a luxury? If not, a radio and a TV (which miraculously work without electricity!) so I can have music and watch Eastenders.
