What was your worst experience as a trainee?

I hated going to court – nerves made my voice squeaky!

If you weren’t a lawyer, what would you have been?

I think I’d possibly like to have been a tax inspector…

If you were stranded on a desert island, what two luxury items would you take?

A wind-up radio, so I could listen to Desert Island Discs on R4, and a large book of cryptic crosswords.

1997: Joined Wards as a trainee solicitor, working in Family, and Wills and Probate departments before qualifying in October 1998
1996: Legal Assistant at Veale Wasbrough
1995: Legal Assistant/trainee at London Borough of Merton
