Bristol Law Society has represented lawyers in Bristol for almost 250 years and at its Annual Awards Dinner next month will celebrate those who have made the biggest impact.
There are 12 different awards and this year, Wards Solicitors has been shortlisted for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Firm of the Year, awarded for showing notable commitment to support causes or projects in the region.
“Best of the best in the profession locally”
Bristol Law Society’s President, John Moriarty, said: “Over the last 40 years, there has been a greater than fourfold increase in the number of lawyers practising in Bristol.
“As a consequence, Bristol Law Society, shortly to be 250 years old, has adapted to meet the needs of all its members, be they a sole practitioner, a multi-branch multi-disciplinary firm or an international behemoth. It has sought to represent all of the profession whether local, regionally or nationally.
“This Annual Awards Dinner represents the best of the best in the profession locally. It recognises achievements over the past year not only of the winners but also those individuals, teams and organisations nominated and shortlisted. It is a rare social occasion when the profession can come together and enjoy local success.”
Wards Solicitors remains open for business during the national lockdown and we are taking on new cases. We are available for video call and telephone meetings but cannot currently offer face to face meetings with clients except in some specific emergency situations and at court hearings.
