Employment Solicitor Laura Ramos, who joined Wards in February this year, has been selected to join the Employment Lawyers Association’s Training Committee.
The ELA’s Training Committee is responsible for keeping ELA members, who are all practicing lawyers, fully versed and up to date in all areas of employment law.
Practical and cost-effective training is delivered by Committee volunteers, who include barristers, solicitors from firms who represent both employees and employers, in-house counsel and professional support lawyers.
The ELA’s 6,000 members are drawn from every branch of the legal profession and include solicitors and barristers acting for both employers and employees, trade unions, the voluntary sector, industry and the judiciary.
An experienced litigator, Laura deals with all types of employment claims, from breach of contract and unfair dismissal (conduct, capability and redundancy) to discrimination and whistleblowing. She has a successful track record in Employment Tribunal work, representing both employers and employees. Laura will officially join the Committee from April this year.
