Louise Boustead, a solicitor at the Yate office of Wards Solicitors, has been recognised as a specialist by the UK’s leading family law group, Resolution (formerly known as the Solicitors Family Law Association). Louise is one of only a handful of Resolution accredited solicitors in the Yate area.
Already a Law Society family panelist, Louise has now passed the profession’s most demanding test and is an accredited specialist in the area of domestic abuse and Private Children Act work. She also advises on all other areas of family law.
Resolution stipulate that panelists hold ‘exceptional levels of experience and skill’ and must be qualified for 5 years, with substantial experience of family law.
All family solicitors at Wards are members of Resolution. This demonstrates the firm’s commitment to dealing with matters in a professional, sensitive, constructive and cost-effective way.
Louise says, “I am delighted to have achieved this formal recognition of my work as a family lawyer. My work involves helping people through what can be a very stressful change in their life. External validation of this sort can help to reduce the stress by demonstating that their legal advice comes on the back of proven experience”.
