Meet the team

What our clients have to say

'Your usual efficient job but on this occasion completed at breathtaking speed.'

As head of the residential team, and responsible for all office locations, Susan may have a desk in Portishead but can more often be found sitting in as locum at other locations.

She specialises in all types of residential property transactions, including the sale, purchase, mortgage or remortgage of houses and flats; property transfers pursuant to insolvency, family breakdown and death; buy-to-let purchases; developer purchases, lease schemes and plot sales; as well as land registration issues, including voluntary first registrations and adverse possession claims.

Susan says: “A primary concern for me is ensuring that clients enjoy a seamless, professional service, but also reviewing and managing quality provision throughout the service area”.

What’s the best thing about your job?

I enjoy being responsible for the team and service provision here at Wards Solicitors. Moving home is fraught at the best of time and I enjoy being able to make sure that our clients get the very best, efficient and friendly service.

Why should people come to you for legal advice?

Conveyancing isn’t to be taken lightly. It needs legal expertise as well as local contacts if it’s to go smoothly. There really is no substitute for local, legal specialism.

What do you do outside of work?

I’m a Bristol Rugby supporter and a keen golfer.
