Sophie Hall

Solicitor

Sophie is an experienced specialist solicitor working across the areas of Wills, Probate and administration of estates as well as the preparation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Sophie has extensive experience at administering testate and intestate cases, including:

  • Large taxable estates over £4m
  • Large intestate estates
  • Estates with complex issues caused by homemade Wills
  • Estates with cross-boarder elements

Sophie says “I am able to explain complex legal terms in a comprehensive and logical way.  I understand that discussing a Will or dealing with a loved ones estate can be difficult and I am able to provide my clients with empathetic support, alongside legal advice which is tailored to their specific needs.”

It is essential that specialist legal advice is obtained when creating a Will as preparing a homemade Will can often cause major difficulties when administering estates.

Specialist legal advice should be obtained when preparing a Will and administering an estate to ensure that all available Inheritance Tax allowances are utilised effectively.

Additionally, Lasting Powers of Attorney are just as essential as making a Will as this will safeguard you should you ever lose capacity.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Law Degree, Cardiff University
  • Legal Practice Course, University of the West of England
  • Qualified as a Solicitor in September 2011
  • Worked in Private Client law since qualification
