Elizabeth Fry now member of the Court of Protection Practitioners Association

Wards Solicitors is pleased to announce that Elizabeth Fry has become a member of the Court of Protection Practitioners Association.

The Court of Protection Practitioners Association (CoPPA) was formed in September 2012 and is developing its area of influence as it becomes more widely known.

The Association aims to promote good practice in all matters relating to the Court of Protection. This is the court which deals with all matters for those who lack capacity to look after their own affairs whether this be their finances, their health and welfare or how they manage their lives.

The Court of Protection has a direct impact therefore in very personal issues relating to some of the most vulnerable in our society.

Wards Solicitors is gaining in expertise in this area having recruited Alison Lamont who specializes in this area of work.
