Senior Family Lawyer joins Wards Bristol office

Sheldon Price, a specialist family lawyer, has joined Wards' central Bristol office in Broad Street. She qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and has worked in the area of family law since that time. Apart from handling divorce and separation, she specialises in childcare issues, such as child protection, contact, residence and removal of children from the home.

She is a member of The Law Society's Family Law Panel and a Childcare Representative on its Children Panel (one of only a handful locally). Only solicitors who meet the Law Society's strict requirements are allowed to join these panels. They must specialise in family law, demonstrate in-depth legal knowledge, and be capable of dealing with clients in a skilful, considerate way. Sheldon works alongside Jayne Penney in the firm's Weston-super-Mare office, who also specialises in public and private sector childcare law.

Sheldon comments, "It's satisfying seeing the transformation in those who have, with our help, been able to move on with their lives and regain their self-esteem again."
