A night to remember at iconic Clevedon Pier

Event at Clevedon Pier hosted by solicitors from Wards' Clevedon, Nailsea and Portishead offices

The famous poet John Betjeman called it the most beautiful pier in England so what better place to host an evening for Wards Solicitors' Clevedon, Nailsea and Portishead offices?

Thank you to all the guests who braved the less than summery weather to join us in the glorious surrounds of Clevedon Pier with great food and service, not to mention unbeatable sea views, provided by the Tiffin restaurant.

Celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, Clevedon Pier - the only Grade 1 listed pier in the UK open to the public - attracts 10,000 visitors a year and it's not hard to see why.

A £2 million restoration programme was completed in 1998 with the pier promenade fully repainted just a few years ago, bringing this iconic building back to its former glory.

A programme of events to mark 150 years - parties, concerts and a firework display to mention a few - has been running throughout 2019, all funded by donations and sponsorship from local businesses including Wards Solicitors.
