‘Everybody’s local law firm’ – why our latest trainee lawyers chose Wards Solicitors
The specialist legal advice delivered to local communities by Wards Solicitors has played a key role in drawing all three of our latest trainee lawyers to the firm.
Emily Symes, Sabrina Morey and Charlotte Strawbridge all cite the extensive local provision and wealth of specialist lawyers across Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Bath & North East Somerset and North Somerset as the main reasons they chose Wards Solicitors to develop their careers.
Expertise
Emily, 24, says: "I applied to Wards Solicitors because I am from Bristol myself and providing a service which benefits my local community is important to me.
"It is also an award winning firm which I believe will provide me with the experience and knowledge to become a successful solicitor."
Sabrina, also 24, wanted to work for a local firm and adds: "As well as 11 local offices, Wards Solicitors has expertise across many legal areas so I knew I would receive quality training and lots of support to become a good lawyer."
'Everybody's local law firm'
And Charlotte, 23, can only agree. She likes the fact that Wards Solicitors prides itself on being 'everybody's local law firm' with specialists in so many different practice areas.
"This is great for trainees," she says. "It means we have the opportunity to experience a wide range of seats and learn from some really great lawyers."
All three of our new trainees studied law at university, Charlotte and Emily at the University of the West of England, and all come from the South West.
Charlotte is currently working with the Commercial Services Team in Bristol, Emily is with the Conveyancing Team in the Keynsham office and Sabrina is with the Disputes Team in the Clevedon office.
Welcome
Managing Partner, David Sheridan, comments: "I am delighted to welcome Sabrina, Charlotte and Emily to Wards Solicitors as trainee lawyers and wish them the very best of luck."
