Hard work pays off with specialist accreditation

Wards Solicitors' Rebecca Purchase has been awarded a specialist qualification in trust and estate planning, further adding to the wealth of expertise within the Wills, Probate and Mental Capacity team.

Rebecca, a Solicitor Associate who works in the Nailsea office, has become a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) after passing her final exam on the taxation of trusts and estates in England and Wales.

Membership of STEP, which aims to improve the public's knowledge and understanding of inheritance and succession planning and promote the highest professional standards, is highly sought after and involves committed study.

Rebecca says: "It has been demanding studying for the exams whilst working but I am delighted to have now attained full STEP accreditation and look forward to bringing all that I have learnt to the benefit of my clients."

Rebecca has also recently become a fully accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) after passing both the Older Client Law in Practice (OCLP) and the Older Client Care in Practice (OCCP) as she continues to develop her expertise in helping older clients prepare for the future.
