Helping our local hospice

The vital work that St Peter's Hospice does in providing care for adults with a terminal illness is to receive a boost from Wards Solicitors.

St Peter's has just launched a scheme to sign up local businesses and raise £25,000 to help run its services over the coming year and Wards Solicitors, via its Wards Solicitors Centenary Charity Fund, was more than happy to immediately donate £1,000.

Serving Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset, St Peter's is the area's only adult hospice and cares for more than 2,500 patients and more than 6,000 family members a year.

Jenny Pierce, Head of the Wills, Probate and Mental Capacity team at Wards Solicitors, said: "St Peter's gives patients and their families' choices about end of life care and at all times treats them with the dignity and respect that they deserve. We are delighted and proud to be able to help."
