New expertise comes to Commercial Property team

Wards Solicitors' Commercial Property team continues to grow with the appointment of solicitor Emma Cheetham, also a fully qualified chartered surveyor.

Based in Clevedon, she joins a team of six specialist commercial property lawyers all available at each of Wards Solicitors' 11 office locations, dealing in everything from commercial property sales, purchases, leases and licences to pop-up businesses, the sale of land for commercial development and landlord and tenant issues

Emma's qualification as a chartered surveyor gives her a unique understanding of both sides of any commercial property transaction, enabling her to flag up potential problems to clients at an early stage.

She says: "Commercial property transactions can be complex but an experienced solicitor can look at the deal holistically and point out any potential issues early on in the transaction to allow it to flow more efficiently.

"Furthermore, my previous experience as a chartered surveyor gives me valuable knowledge of the negotiating process which usually takes place before instructing a solicitor thus allowing me to provide a highly efficient service for clients."

Wards Solicitors' now has a new, city centre hub dedicated to its commercial and corporate services and commercial property The renovated and fully refurbished office on High Street is conveniently placed for Bristol's business community and just a stone's throw from Wards Solicitors' other central office in Broad Street.
