On Parade at Armed Forces Day in Thornbury

Wards Solicitors flew the flag for Armed Forces Day at a special celebration to mark 100 years since the end of the First World War.

For the first time, the South Gloucestershire's annual event was held in Thornbury with a parade, a drumhead ceremony and the usual fantastic array of live performances, stalls and other attractions.

As usual, Wards Solicitors was delighted to set up a stand, manned by members of the Yate office, and welcome visitors young and old who popped in for a chat and to take part in our Name the Teddy and Prize Hamper competitions.

Partner Alison Bradley, head of Wards Solicitors' Family Law and Divorce Team, said: "It was a fantastic occasion to support our armed forces and an annual event we are proud to be involved with."

We will be getting in touch with our competition winners very soon. But we can tell you that the name chosen for our fantastically cuddly bear is Fluffington!
