In the heart of Nailsea, the delights of chocolate making brought together a group of staff from Wards Solicitors in a team building exercise which saw them mixing and melting, rolling and moulding to craft their own confectionary creations.

Members of the disputes team came from each of Wards Solicitors' 11 offices across the region, from Bristol to Yate and Weston-Super- Mare to Worle as well as Nailsea, and all 17 participants grabbed the chance to not only have some fun but to talk face to face for a change instead of on the phone or via email.

The chocolate making workshop took place at The Blue Room in Nailsea, not far from the Wards Solicitors' local office.

Not only is it a popular arts and crafts gallery which focuses on showcasing local artists and community projects, it is a venue with a conscience operating as a social enterprise reinvesting any profit, through the business, back into the town.

And the workshop itself was provided by The Chocolate Tart cookery school located in nearby Congresbury.

Elizabeth Fry, Head of Disputes at Wards Solicitors, said: "We had a great time making a whole range of different chocolates, as well as eating them, but above all it was a fantastic opportunity to get everyone in the team together, both solicitors and support staff, for a laugh, a chat and a good bonding session. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves."
