Scaling new heights for children’s charity

Huge congratulations go to Sylvie Feltham, Partner in Wards' Family Law team, who soared to new heights recently with her charity fundraising trek up Mount Snowdon in Wales.

Despite torrential rain and very poor weather conditions, Sylvie, who is based in Wards' Weston Super Mare branch, reached the summit of the mountain in good time, and even beat her original fundraising target, raising more than £1000 for Action for Children, which protects and supports young people in the UK from abuse and neglect.

"Doing family work makes me realise how much help is needed………..their latest drive is to offer mental health education to years 5 and 6 of primary school," said Sylvie, who admitted the climb was tough going due to the weather, with 'people turning back because of the strong winds and rain.'
