Sweet! Cake sale raises money for St.Peter’s Hospice
There were butterfly cakes, brownies and flapjacks, sponges, muffins, cookies and scones - all baked to raise money for St Peter's Hospice, Bristol's only charity caring for adults with life limiting illnesses.
Staff from Wards Solicitors' Bristol, Yate and Bradley Stoke offices donned their aprons and got out their mixing bowls to create some delicious teatime treats to sell to colleagues - collecting a total of more than £500 in the process.
Last year, the Ready, Steady, Bake appeal raised an incredible £10,000 for St Peter's Hospice, with more than 100 events held across Bristol, and fundraisers hope to top that this year.
The money is needed more than ever as the hospice aims to complete the funding of its redeveloped Inpatient Unit through its Room to Care Appeal.
