The mark of quality – Wards Solicitors does it again
Wards Solicitors has once again been awarded the Law Society's Lexcel quality mark for excellence winning praise for its efficiency and commitment to clients, dedication to staff training and development as well as its charity work.
The scheme sets the benchmark for quality in a number of different areas including people management, client care and file and case management and assures clients they can expect, among other things, regular and accurate cost estimates, a timely response to enquiries and accessible information on how charges are calculated.
Convenient locations and uniform approach to work
When assessing the firm for this year's accreditation, the auditor - who spent several days visiting all 11 Wards Solicitors' offices across Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Bath, North and North East Somerset - praised their convenient location for clients, uniform feel and approach to work adding this was 'often not the case in similar practices'.
He also applauded the firm's well-developed sense of its corporate and social responsibilities, how staff are encouraged to put forward suggestions for the annual charity as well as its approach to staff training.
Support for developing lawyers
"Training for all staff is taken very seriously," he reported, "and there are regular and ongoing programmes of training, particularly in respect of anti-money laundering, equality and diversity, data security and data protection as well as the usual and expected Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for lawyers. Many staff are developing lawyers, supported by the firm with their studies and career development."
Wards Solicitors has held the sought after Lexcel Accreditation since the early days of the scheme's existence and has undergone rigorous and regular assessment ever since.
