Wards and Brain Tumour Support team up for Write Your Will Month

Coming up in July, Wards Solicitors is delighted to be partnering with local charity Brain Tumour Support for its second 'Write Your Will Month'.

After the success of last year's initiative, Wards' Thornbury branch is using the month to raise awareness of the importance of having a correctly drawn up Will in place, and also to raise valuable funds for Brain Tumour Support's work.

Wards is offering the chance to engage one of their qualified Wills and Probate solicitors, who are kindly donating their time for free, to draft or update a standard Will in return for a donation to Brain Tumour Support.

Wills and Probate Partner Rachael Abbott said: "For anyone thinking about making a Will, this is a fantastic way to not only make sure your wishes are set out properly by a qualified solicitor, but also to raise money for this very worthwhile local charity. Write Your Will Month saw a great take-up from BTS supporters last year, and we are hopeful we can build on that success in July."

Jayne Mallard, from Brain Tumour Support's Fundraising Team said: "We're delighted to be working with Wards Solicitors on Write Your Will month for a second year running. We know how valuable it was for the people who took up this opportunity last year.

"It's a wonderful chance to benefit from the expertise and friendly, individual service that Wards offers - and that is especially important as we know that the process of writing a Will can be understandably daunting for many people. And of course the added bonus is the knowledge that you will also be raising vital funds for our much needed support services."
