Wards ‘Big Wigs’ challenge update

A group of daredevils from Wards Solicitors braved the freezing temperatures on Sunday to take part in a sponsored abseil at Uphill quarry. The abseil was in aid of Sue Ryder Care, as part of Wards' fundraising for their 'Big Wigs Challenge'.

'Big Wigs' teams have been given £50 by Sue Ryder and now have 4 months to make as much money as possible from this. The Wards team raised in excess of £1,000 from abseiling down the 100 foot quarry.

Other Wards 'Big Wigs' events included an auction, cake sales, quiz night, raffle, sale of bacon butties, donation of swear fees, dress down days. Upcoming events include a Christmas raffle, bingo night and collection outside of Sainsbury's Supermarket.
