Wards Solicitors Partner John Brentnall receives the Borough Shield

At Weston's most historic and prestigious social gathering, the annual charity ball, Wards Solicitors Partner, John Brentnall, was presented with the Borough Shield. Sharing the award with Paul Batts of Weston Town Centre Partnership, it recognises their outstanding contribution to the community.

Mayor Keith Morris and Mayoress Jocelyn Holder welcomed guests to the charity ball at the Winter Gardens and presented this award.

A four-course meal was enjoyed before the Lipinski Band played throughout the night. Money raised from the night will be split between the RNLI, Weston Hospicecareand Freewheelers Emergency Volunteer Service.
