Disputes specialist, Lucia Mills, returns to the Bristol City Centre office, to specialise in cohabitation disputes. An increasing area for disputes, cohabitation disputes relate to unmarried coupled with financial issues, including property disputes, going through a relationship breakdown.
Lucia said: "There is a common misconception that unmarried couples enjoy the same rights and protections as married couples but this is not the case. I'm now focusing on assisting couples in setting out their intentions clearly at the outset by way of a cohabitation agreement, and helping those that have found themselves in a dispute when their relationship has ended."
Also returning to the Bristol City Centre office, from maternity leave, is Relationship Breakdown and Divorce solicitor, Suzanne Henderson.
Suzanne said: "The clients I work with are going through a difficult period, often seeking a solution to complex financial disputes and matters relating to their children. I am looking forward to rejoining the team and, once again, seeing our clients emerge from the process stronger and happier."
Returning to the Worle office, this month, is Chartered Legal Executive, Claire Blackman, who specialises in Conveyancing matters.
Claire said: "With the housing market clearly starting to show signs of movement it's great to be back and helping the many local people who are buying or selling their homes."
