Wards teams up with Great Western Air Ambulance for Wills month

This November, Wards is teaming up with the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity for its special Wills Month.

The scheme gives people the chance to have their Will written or updated in exchange for a donation to GWAAC, with Wards’ Wills and Probate solicitors donating their time for free and waiving the usual charges.

It is a great way to get your Will sorted out and help a vital lifesaving service at the same time.

Suggested donations to GWAAC are £100 for a standard single Will, and £150 for a double will *

Early booking is advised, to avoid disappointment, as there are limited Will appointments available under the scheme.

All donations raised in this November’s Wills Month will go towards funding vital work.  For instance, a £100 donation could provide five haemostatic dressings, used to control severe bleeding at the scene of an accident.

£150 would pay for five infant warming mattresses used to help keep tiny babies warm.

For £500, all the disposable kit items, medicines and staff costs could be provided for a life-saving, pre-hospital emergency anaesthetic.

Three Wards’ offices are operating the Will-writing appointments: Staple Hill in Bristol, and Yate and Thornbury in South Gloucestershire.

To make an appointment, simply contact the branch of your choice and quote Great Western Air Ambulance Will Writing Month.

*Standard Will-writing rates with Wards are £432 for a single Will, and £690 for a joint Will.
