Worle quiz night hailed great success

A great pub, an entertaining quizmaster and 11 teams ready to do battle - the perfect ingredients for a fun night out in Worle.

Organised by Julie Burbidge, Family Law and Divorce Solicitor Associate and also office manager of Wards Solicitors' Worle office, local business people piled in to The Nut Tree pub for what turned out to be a highly successful and hugely enjoyable quiz night.

Not only was a good time had by all, a special raffle raised £156 for charity. The money will be split between Wards Solicitors' charity of the year, Off the Record (Bristol), which provides mental health support to young people and Weston Child Contact Centre.

Julie adds: "We all had a great night, the room in the pub was packed and the atmosphere was fantastic. Not only that, we also raised some money for two important local charities. I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who came."
