Family law and divorce lawyer, Julie Burbidge, has been awarded – for the third time – a prestigious accreditation which reflects an outstanding level of skill, knowledge and expertise in her specialist areas.
She has been re-accredited under a scheme run by Resolution, a group of 6,500 family law professionals committed to a non-confrontational approach to family problems, as a specialist in the law relating to children and the complex financial remedies often required by divorce settlements.
Mark of excellence
This accreditation, a mark of excellence in practice, requires Resolution members to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of essential law, procedure and practice as well as sufficient skill, proficiency and experience in all these areas by completing a number of challenging assignments.
Julie, a Solicitor Associate, says: “I am delighted to have been re-accredited as a Resolution specialist, a process which now happens every three years to ensure that the skills, expertise and work you have undertaken as a family law practitioner all continue to meet the demanding criteria required.
“It’s really important that people seek advice from a qualified expert, when they are facing family or relationship breakdown. This will make sure they have a clear understanding of what they are really entitled to and, in financial work particularly, ensure that any final agreement is then made legally binding.”
