We are looking to recruit  an experienced and proactive Compliance Manager to help ensure we maintain the highest regulatory standards.

The Role

The Compliance Manager plays a key role in overseeing the firm’s regulatory compliance and risk management framework.

You will work closely with senior managers to ensure adherence to all relevant legal and professional obligations, including those set by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).

Key Responsibilities and Opportunities

  • Managing ,developing ,maintaining and implementing the firm’s compliance and risk management policies and procedures
  • Acting as the firm’s COLP if appropriate
  • Monitoring regulatory changes and advising on necessary actions
  • Having oversight of  internal audits and risk assessments
  • Handling complaints and liaising with regulatory bodies where required
  • Delivering compliance training to staff across the firm
  • Promoting a strong culture of compliance and ethical practiceAbout You
  • Proven experience in a compliance role within a medium size high street law firm
  • Strong knowledge of SRA regulations and legal compliance frameworks
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Confident communicator
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Professional, discreet, and solutions-focused

Location and working hours

Full-time (office hours are 9.00am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday) in our Central Bristol office.

We offer hybrid working on a 3 days in the office 2 days at home basis post an induction period in the office.
