Armed Forces Day 2016

Wards Solicitors is proud to stand to attention and take part once again in this year's Armed Forces Day to show support for the nation's military forces both past and present from air, land and sea.

Organised by South Gloucestershire Council, the annual event will take place on Saturday June 25 and will feature a parade of local veterans, cadet groups, bands and military vehicles along Kingswood High Street and Regent Street.

Members of Wards Solicitors' Family and Divorce Team will once again be running a stall adding to a rich mix of stands and activities taking place on the day.

There will be lots to see and do including a glider, a display of military vehicles from the past and present, a climbing wall and performances from singers and bands.

Alison Bradley, who heads Wards Solicitors Family and Divorce Team, said: "It's a fantastic day and we are really looking forward to being part of it again this year. For us, it feels really positive to unite as a team and work together at this amazingly well organised local event to show our appreciation and gratitude for all that our armed forces have done, and continue to do, for our country."

  • Armed Forces Day is a free event and runs from 10.30am to 4.00pm on Kingswood Park and High Street
