Colleagues lend a hand at Alive Activities allotments

Earlier this week a group of nine colleagues from Wards Solicitors spent a day getting their hands dirty, supporting a great local cause volunteering at Alive Activities allotments in South Bristol.

Our team took on various jobs to help keep the allotments looking their best. Their gardening tasks included clearing brambles, opening pathways, tackling weeds, and giving the garden chairs fresh paint.

The day got off to a typical British start with lots of rain, but the clouds cleared and the sunshine made an appearance!  With the weather on their side, our team was able to make great progress on the allotments while spending time together, seeing the difference their efforts can make.

And this is just the beginning… Another group of Wards colleagues will be visiting the Alive Activities allotments next month to continue lending a hand and supporting the great work the charity does for older people and their carers.

A huge thank you to the team at Alive Activities for having us, and for all the fantastic work you do. As our Charity Partner, we’re thrilled to be playing a small part in keeping the allotments thriving.
