Crumbs! What a cake sale

Cakes, especially home-made ones, always go down well and a sale in aid of Cancer Research UK raised just over £100 at Wards Solicitors' Bristol office recently.

Mouth-watering raspberry and chocolate brownies, coffee and walnut sponge, lemon drizzle cake and rice crispy cakes were just a few of the delights on offer - although not for long!

Organised by the Wills and Probate team, the cake sale is just one of many charity fund raising events held by staff at all 11 Wards Solicitors' offices throughout the year.

A spokesperson for Cancer Research UK said: "It's fantastic that you decided to support our work, especially at such an exciting time. We are currently funding over half of all the UK's research into cancer. And together with supporters like you we are making progress against over 200 types of cancer, bringing forward the day when all cancers are cured."
