Cupcakes with a conscience

When it comes to cupcakes, staff at Wards Solicitors' Henleaze office, like nothing better than to put on their aprons and get baking.

And their most recent cake sale, in aid of Alzheimer's Society, raised more than £50 in a single day for this worthwhile charity.

Alzheimer's Society, which works to find new treatments and ultimately a cure for this devastating disease, has been running Cupcake Day since 2016 with the event raising a total of £1.4 million in that time.
