The sun shone, the dogs barked and even the teddy bears behaved themselves at Bleadon's Fun Dog and Teddy Bear Show.

Outside, there was a huge assortment of canines - Labradors, spaniels, West Highland White Terriers and a variety of mixed breed canines - all vying for an array of titles including best rescue dog, fluffiest dog, best veteran dog as well as the dog with the most soulful eyes, waggiest tail and best trick.

Inside, the teddy bears took on other cuddly toys to compete for the title of cutest toy, best dressed toy and the toy the judge would most like to take home. There were also stalls, a raffle and cream teas.

Wards Solicitors was more than happy to help out at such a well-attended local event in the North Somerset countryside by covering printing costs and donating the rosettes. All the money raised went to Friends of Bleadon Church.
