New accreditation demonstrates Wards Solicitors commitment to cyber security

In a world where cyber-attacks are becoming increasingly common, Wards Solicitors has taken decisive action to robustly protect its critical information technology systems and the sensitive data held on them.

For the last year, Wards Solicitors has been working towards achieving the government approved Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation to demonstrate it has external audits and the procedures in place to prevent the most common cyber-attacks on its IT network.

The first stage was a self-assessment process followed up by a full external check-up by an independent auditor designed to highlight any vulnerability and establish that all basic protections are in place and running effectively.

Wards Solicitors' Managing Partner, David Sheridan, says: "I am delighted that we have now been awarded this accreditation and will be seeking to retain this to ensure continued security of our systems."
