New Wills & Probate solicitor for Ward’s Portishead office

Kate Spilsbury has joined Wards' Wills & Probate team, based in their Portishead office. She qualified as a solicitor in 2006, having trained with Reynolds Galbraith Solicitors which is from where she now joins us. Kate specialises in all aspects of Wills & Probate (estate administration) work, including Inheritance Tax planning issues and advising the elderly.

Kate comments: "Sadly, I see the many problems that can arise when people don't make proper provision for their latter years or on their death. However, on the positive side, I thoroughly enjoy advising private clients in relation to these issues, as well as helping them to minimise their tax burdens via careful estate planning. I'm looking forward to working with existing Wards' clients and meeting new ones in the area".
