111 bike ride update – Pedal power
A team of Wards Solicitors, family & friends cycled over 111km (70 miles) on Sunday 9 October raising funds for the firm's charity of the year, BRACE. The ride took in all 11 offices of the firm and was undertaken in our 111 year of business. We were welcomed with much-needed refreshments at Staple Hill, Keynsham, Portishead and some wonderful soup, bread & cake at the finish in Weston Super Mare.
The riders were Stephanie Hill, Rachael Thomas, Richard Clement, Kate Williamson, Niall Desbottes, Pete Livingstone, James Taylor and Robert Taylor (aged 15), and Katrina Bartlett put in a tough 30 miles at the start. The ride has so far raised over £450 for the charity.
