The expertise of Alison Bradley, head of Wards Solicitors' Family Law and Divorce Team, has been acknowledged by the independent UK legal guide, Chambers and Partners 2020.

Alison, who is highlighted as a recognised practitioner by Chambers, has almost 30 years' legal experience providing expert and specialist advice on all aspects of family law including:

  • Separation and divorce;
  • Financial provision; including pensions and businesses;
  • Arrangements for children including parenting agreements and court applications;
  • Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements;
  • Court and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Specialist qualifications

Alison has a vast array of qualifications to her name. She has held the Law Society's Family Law Advanced Accreditation, with specialisms in both financial and children cases, since 2017.

This accreditation - Alison is just one of two lawyers in Bristol to have it - is given only to those who meet the highest standards of technical expertise and client service after demonstrating a high level of competence, knowledge and best practice in family law.

Proven expert

Alison, a Partner, is also accredited by Resolution, a national organisation of more than 6,500 family lawyers and professionals committed to a non-confrontational approach to divorce, separation and family problems.

Resolution accredited specialists are proven experts in different areas of family law who have chosen to test their skills and expertise through a rigorous assessment of their knowledge, abilities and the way they work with clients and professionals.

She is a Resolution accredited specialist in Financial Provision, and has been since 2004, and is also recognised as having specialist expertise in an area known as 'Private Law Children' covering guidance on arrangements for children following a relationship breakdown.
