Prestigious president’s role for Michael Gupwell

Wards Solicitors' Associate, Michael Gupwell, has been elected as President of the Association of South Western Law Societies (ASWLS) for the coming year.

Michael, the Immediate Past President of Bristol Law Society, will play a pivotal role within ASWLS which aims to forge closer links between the member law societies - Monmouthshire, Bristol, Devon and Somerset, Plymouth, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire and Cornwall.

He said: "I am honoured to have been given the opportunity to take ASWLS forward into next year and build on the great work of the previous presidents."

Michael, a solicitor advocate, joined Wards Solicitors at the start of 2016 as a Criminal Defence Advocate and Notary Public, one of just 800 or so Notaries in England and Wales.
