Walking the walk in Nailsea

Organisations from all over Nailsea have come together to stride out in aid of a whole host of charities - and staff from Wards Solicitors' Nailsea office have been happy to join in the fun.

The Nailsea Charity Walks & Runs 2019 - there is a 5k, a 10k and a 20k distance - is the brainchild of the Rotary Club of Nailsea and Backwell and is aimed at bringing people together throughout the year and enabling them to raise money for charities of their choice at the same time.

Wards Solicitors' Partner Rebecca Purchase from the Wills, Probate and Mental Capacity team was joined by conveyancing Partner, Luke Hewitt and secretaries Kelly Leggett and Janice Baldwin in tackling the 10k distance earlier this month.

Rebecca says: "This event is a great way for local charities, schools, sports clubs and other organisations to raise money for themselves through sponsored walks and runs and a fantastic chance for a great get together. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves."
