Wards Solicitors and St George’s Bristol continue successful collaboration supporting older people across Bristol
Wards Solicitors is happy to announce the renewal of its partnership with St George’s Bristol, the city’s innovative independent music venue.
In its second year, the focus of the partnership will be supporting St George’s Community Ticket Club, a project designed to promote the wellbeing of older and vulnerable people by providing free access to weekly lunchtime concerts.
Alongside the enjoyment of live music, the Community Ticket Club offers a welcoming space for older people to connect with others and take part in social and cultural activities, particularly those experiencing isolation or challenges in their daily lives.
Since its launch, the project has welcomed more than 500 people from community and voluntary groups across Bristol to enjoy over 70 live performances at St George’s. Through additional support from a Bristol City Council travel grant, the programme is expanding to attract new community groups to the scheme.
After a successful members’ Wills and Legacies event in April, Wards will run another exclusive event for St George’s supporters later in the year, looking at later life planning and inheritance tax advice. Details to be announced soon.
