Wards Solicitors announces new Head of Business Services & Commercial Property practice

Wards Solicitors has announced that Heather Jones has been appointed as the firm's new Head of Business Services & Commercial Property, with immediate effect.

After many years service, Bridget Juckes has stepped down, nominating Heather Jones for the role. This recommendation was unanimously accepted at a recent partners' meeting.

Based in the firm's Weston-super-Mare office, Commercial Property specialist and partner Heather will be responsible for managing the team across all ten Wards Solicitors locations.

Heather Jones said: "Wards Solicitors' commercial and commercial property services support organisations of all sizes, across the South West. The team's reputation for practical advice and seamless integration with the firm's wider private client services is a source of pride to us all. It's a great honour to have been recommended for this role and I'm looking forward to taking on the responsibility."

Managing Partner, David Sheridan, said: "Bridget Juckes has been an active member of the firm since joining in 1994 and will continue in her role as partner and commercial law specialist. As head of department she has grown the team to establish a solid offering to the firm's clients. The partnership wishes to thank her for her contribution and to congratulate Heather as we move into a new period of team leadership."
