Wards Solicitors appoints specialist in Court of Protection, Deputyship and Mental Capacity matters

Local legal specialists, Wards Solicitors, has appointed Court of Protection, Deputyship and Mental Capacity expert, Alison Lamont.

Wards Solicitors has one of the leading Wills, Mental Capacity & Probate teams in the South West, with a particular expertise in advising Elderly Clients and handling Probate Disputes. Alison joins the team, as well as working alongside the firm's Disputes practice, in the firm's Bristol City Centre office as a specialist in Court of Protection applications, Statutory Wills, Codicils, Gifts, Contentious Court of Protection matters as well as financial management matters relating to long term care.

Alison said: "I enjoy working with clients to sort out very difficult situations with the minimum of fuss. For example, when elderly clients have not been coping living on their own and need to move to a care home or a court order is required so that a property can be sold and finances regularised, clients say they appreciate getting caring, down to earth and sensitive advice.
