Wards Solicitors has been made a corporate partner of Bath's Royal United Hospitals' Forever Friends Appeal after raising an incredible £10,000 to fund important projects which help support patients, their families and friends.
For the third year running, Wards Solicitors has joined other local solicitors taking part in the hospitals' Make a Will month.
During this time, lawyers from our Wards Solicitors' Keynsham office waive their usual fees to draw up professionally written standard Wills for those who want one, in return for a minimum donation of £100 for a single Will and £150 for a mirror Will paid directly to the Forever Friends Appeal.
Incredible support
Jan Witt, Memory and Legacy Officer for the Royal United Hospitals' Bath NHS Trust, said: "With your incredible support we will be able to significantly improve services for the hundreds of patients and their families who walk through the doors of the RUH each and every day.
"Your support over the years with Will Month is helping to fund additional equipment, research and innovations, as well as finishing touches and 'extras' that complement the existing high quality care at our hospital.
"As a charity, we rely on the wonderful generosity and support of our Corporate Partners to help fund projects that make a really big difference to the patients and their families cared for at the Royal United Hospitals, Bath. Acknowledging Wards Solicitors as a Corporate Partner is our way of saying 'thank you' for everything you have done so far to help us continue this fundraising work."
Wards Solicitors' Keynsham office manager and partner, Ruth Coles, said: "Make a Will month is a fantastic way to not only encourage people to make a Will, something which we believe is very important, but also to help our local hospitals' trust improve its support to so many local people. We are always delighted to lend our support."
