Iysha advises employers and employees on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters. She provides practical, commercially focused advice tailored to each client’s individual circumstances and works closely with them to achieve effective and pragmatic solutions. Iysha understands the importance of keeping clients informed throughout their matter, providing clear advice on the scope of work, likely costs and timescales so they know what to expect at every stage.

 

Her experience includes:

  • Advising employers and employees on a wide range of workplace issues, including unfair dismissal, constructive dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, redundancy, TUPE and equal pay
  • Drafting, reviewing and advising on employment contracts, directors’ service agreements, contracts for services and settlement agreements
  • Supporting clients through ACAS Early Conciliation and advising on settlement strategy, the merits of potential claims and defences, and Employment Tribunal proceedings
  • Preparing pre-action correspondence to encourage early and cost-effective resolution of disputes
  • Supporting corporate and commercial transactions by advising on employment law issues, including employment-related warranties and due diligence

Qualifications

  • LLB (Hons) UWE (Dean’s List)
  • Legal Practice Course (LPC)
  • Admitted as a Solicitor of England and Wales in 2017
