Kanwal Khan

Solicitor

I have specialised in residential property throughout my legal career, having worked in residential conveyancing since 2020 and in property since 2018. I have experience handling a wide range of residential property transactions, including sales and purchases involving both registered and unregistered properties.

My experience encompasses managing matters from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion, providing clear and practical advice on legal and contractual matters, reviewing and drafting legal documentation, liaising with clients, estate agents and other parties, and progressing transactions efficiently through to completion.

I take a practical and client-focused approach, ensuring that clients are kept informed throughout their transaction, understand the legal process, and are aware of any issues that may arise.

My residential property work can cross over with other areas of law where matters involve issues such as trusts, probate, family arrangements or other circumstances affecting the ownership or transfer of property.

I have experience dealing with both straightforward and more complex residential property transactions, including matters involving unregistered land, title issues and post-completion Land Registry matters.

Having an experienced solicitor involved can help protect a client’s interests and provide reassurance throughout what can otherwise be a complicated process.
