Former Wards Solicitors' trainee solicitor, Michelle Ward has been selected as the winner of the Devon & Somerset Law Society's Cook's & Hatchard's Prize. Judged by a panel of practicing legal professionals, the award recognises trainee solicitors who have demonstrated particular academic success and merit throughout their training contract.

The prize was presented by Jeremy Browne MP at the Devon & Somerset Law Society Dinner, which was held at Somerset County Cricket club, on Friday 7th November.

Michelle is now a qualified solicitor and working as part of the firm's Commercial Property team, based in the Weston-super-Mare office.
