Wards and Royal West Academy (RWA) to host a special Wills event

Taking place on Thursday 8 October at the RWA’s Main Galleries, A Life with Art, A Lasting Legacy will combine practical advice from Wards’ Wills and Probate team with the opportunity to enjoy the incredible artwork of the RWA’s Annual Open Exhibition.

Ruth Coles, Senior Partner at Wards Solicitors will give an engaging and accessible free talk covering the importance of having the right arrangements in place for the future. Ruth will explore Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney, and current best practice in estate planning, along with some of the considerations that can arise with later marriages and blended families.

Ruth will also touch on how leaving charitable gifts in your Will can form part of wider inheritance tax planning, and how a legacy gift of any size can help support the organisations and communities that have mattered throughout your lifetime.

The evening will provide guests with opportunities to ask questions in a relaxed setting. Following the talk guests can individually discuss Wills, probate and estate planning with Ruth and others from our Wills and Probate team.
