Wards shortlisted for two prestigious Twilight Awards

Wards Solicitors has been shortlisted for two awards in the inaugural Twilight Awards, organised by the Association of Lifetime Lawyers, which recognise outstanding legal work supporting older and vulnerable clients.

The firm has been shortlisted in both the Older and Vulnerable Client Outstanding Team Service category, while Sion Richards, a senior lawyer in Wards' Court of Protection team, has been shortlisted for Court of Protection Lawyer of the Year.

Both entries required a rigorous submission demonstrating high levels of technical skill, exceptional client care, innovation, the continued growth and development of the firm and its teams, and overall outstanding practice within their respective fields.

Jenny Pierce, Managing Partner at Wards Solicitors and a former head of the firm's Wills and Probate team, said:

"We are incredibly proud to be shortlisted for two Twilight Awards. Supporting older and vulnerable clients requires not only a high level of technical expertise, but also empathy, patience and a real understanding of the individual and their circumstances. I am particularly proud of Sion and the wider Older and Vulnerable client team for the care and professionalism they demonstrate every day, and delighted that their work has been recognised in this way."

Lakshmi Turner, CEO of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers, said:

"The Twilight Awards are our chance to shine a spotlight on the exceptional work being done every day to support older and vulnerable clients - work that too often goes unrecognised. We can't wait to celebrate the individuals and teams who consistently raise the bar."

The winners will be announced at an evening ceremony in London on 12 November.
